The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the JEE Main 2019 application form correction window on October 8, 2018. The examination authority is likely to close the correction window soon. As per the statements made by NTA officials, it’s been clearly said that the application form correction window will remain open till October 14, 2019. Candidates who have made any mistake while filling the JEE Main Application Form can correct the same with the help of this correction window.

JEE Main 2019 Application Form Correction
You must be wondering how to make corrections in JEE Main Application Form. To make changes in the information provided by you in the application form, just follow the below mentioned steps in order:
- Visit the official website of NTA
- Click on “Login for Correction in Application Form” button available on the screen.
- On clicking, you will be redirected to the JEE Main 2019 login page.
- Now, enter the details such as application number, password and security pin to login.
- On clicking, the application form correction window will appear on the screen.
- Select the details you wish to make the correction.
- Make the necessary correction and pay the requisite amount of fee (if applicable)
- Review the changes you have made and finally submit the changes.
Details that cannot be changed in JEE Main 2019 form correction
NTA has clearly mentioned that no changes can be made in the choice of examination cities. Except this, candidates can make changes in all the fields with extra charges. Don’t forget that with application form correction facility, candidates will not be able to edit their photograph and signature uploaded by them at the time of filling JEE Main application form 2019, along with the test centres.
Documents required for doing correction in JEE Main 2019 application form
As per last year, students were given the option to edit all their application details including personal details also. But, this year NTA has not yet revealed any information regarding what details can be corrected. Remember that the details provided by you must match the document proofs. - Class 10th Mark Sheet in order to correct education related details
- Class 12th Mark Sheet for correcting educational details
- ID proof to correct personal details
Importance of JEE Main 2019 Correction Window
