EAMCAT Exam Pattern

AP EAMCAT is organized by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. It is conducted every year for the candidates who seek admission in professional UG courses. The details such as AP EAMCAT Exam Pattern, duration of exam, mode, types of questions etc. can be checked by the candidates after its release.

AP EAMCAT Exam Pattern assists the candidate to better understand the structure of the examination so that they can prepare well accordingly. The examination will be conducted in two languages which are English and Telugu in an online mode. The exam will be held from April 20 to April 22 (Engineering) and April 24 (Agriculture).

  • AP EAMCAT Exam Pattern is a computer-based examination i.e. examination will be in online mode.
  • From all the three sections which are Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, multiple choice questions will be asked.
  • The examination will be held in two sessions, one is Morning (10 AM To 1 PM) and afternoon session (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM)

  • Out of four options, the candidate will be asked to choose one right answer.

Exam Pattern for Agriculture:

  • The examination will be held in the last week of April and is conducted for the Agriculture Course.
  • The exam will be held in two sessions for the exam. One is the morning (10 AM To 1 PM) and afternoon session (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM).
  • There will be a total of 160 objective type questions.
  • The paper will be asked in three languages i.e. English, Urdu, and Telugu.
  • The questions will be asked from four subjects which are Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry.
  • This will be a computer-based test of 3-hour duration.
  • For each correct answer, 1 mark is given to the candidate and there will be no negative marking for an incorrect answer.
